NEXTEV had a frustrating day in Berlin as they only to scored a point in the first race. British driver Oliver Turvey has simply put them problem down to the car not suiting the track layout.
Turvey scored the point for the Chinese team after Sebastien Buemi was disqualified from the race for illegal tyre pressures.
The British driver believes that the track layout is hurting the team more than usual, which the team will have to look at for tomorrow’s race.
“This track has a lot of long straights and corners that stop the car and then we have to accelerate onto a long straight. These types of corners just hurt us a lot in the race. We know there are some areas that we can improve. The team are doing a great job in trying to move forward.

The McLaren test driver is also unsure how much the team can change overnight to help himself and Nelson Piquet Jr in the race tomorrow.
“It is going to be tough to make some big changes overnight but I felt happy with the balance, but in terms of the pace on one lap we were quite good but we will have to analyse it and come back tomorrow,” added Turvey.
