Jose Maria Lopez continues to knock on the door of a race win, as the Argentine continues his strong pace in final practice.
The Ds Virgin Racing driver was a tenth of a second clear of both Felix Rosenqvist and Sebastien Buemi
Start of the session
Drivers started the session running on 200kW and yesterday’s race winner Rosenqvist was the quickest man in the early stages of the session.
After ten minutes, Jose Maria Lopez went a just under a tenth quicker than Rosenqvist to move to P1 and confirmed Ds Virgin’s strong pace in Berlin.
The midway point of the session saw the drivers settled into their race runs before they started their qualifying simulations again in the final few minutes of the session.
Lucas Di Grassi was the first driver to start their final qualifying runs. The Audi Sport ABT driver was only able to seventh fastest after his first 200kW lap.
Sebastien Buemi could only manage third fastest with his lap, but nobody could touch the lap time set by Lopez at the beginning of the session.
