Lucas Di Grassi ended the second practice session fastest in Mexico as the Brazilian driver looks to claim his first points of the season.
Felix Rosenqvist finished in second and will be looking to be in the podium places in Mexico as Sam Bird and Di Grassi both have ten-place grid penalties.
Mitch Evans showed that he will be in the mix once again in qualifying as the Kiwi finished the session in third.
Nick Heidfeld finished fourth, but Lynn who ended up fifth brought out the red flag in the closing stages as he crashed coming into the entry of turn three.

The majority of the drivers started the session on a full qualifying lap, with Rosenqvist leading the way after the first round of qualifying laps.
Rosenqvist was three-tenths off Di Grassi’s time from the first practice session, which showed that track had got slightly dirtier again between the two practice sessions.
The drivers then settled down and focused on their race runs for the next 20 minutes of the session before they pushed for a final qualifying run at the end of the session.
Jerome D’Ambrosio came to a halt after the exit of turn one which caused a brief yellow flag with ten minutes to go, but a few minutes later Alex Lynn hit the wall hard after running wide overtaking a slow-moving Felix Rosenqvist.
The crash brought out the red flag and the session restarted with two minutes remaining.
