Evans quickest after FP1 in Berlin

Mitch Evans topped the timings sheets in a close-fought opening practice session in Berlin. 

The Kiwi lapped the Tempelhof Airport circuit in 1:08.162 to top the timesheets by just 0.066 seconds.

After leading early on in the session, Stoffel Vandoorne finished third fastest, being bumped down a place by Edoardo Mortara with a quick lap late on in the session to finish second.

Sebastien Buemi finished the session in fourth with only 0.130 seconds separating the top four.

Currently first and second in the championship, Jean-Eric Vergne and Andre Lotterer finished outside of the top ten with Vergne only two places from the bottom of the timings in 20th.

Whilst after a brief lead during the session Lotterer finished in 17th 0.838 seconds off Evans time.
