Daniel Abt in the second Audi ended the session sixth fastest with Maxi Gunther in seventh for Dragon Racing.

Edorado Mortara ended the session eighth fastest with Jerome D’Ambrosio in ninth and Tom Dillmann putting in a strong showing for NIO in tenth.

It was the first time that the drivers were able to take to the track in anger after only having a 15 minute shakedown session on Friday.

There were no major incidents during the session apart from some drivers missing the Turn 3,4,5 chicane which happened to Pascal Wehrlein on his last flying lap which stopped the German progressing on the order and he finished in 18th place.

The next session will take place at 10:20 local time.
