“Formula E is the embodiment of technology, innovation and sustainability. Values that correspond 100 percent with Eindhoven which is Europe’s leading innovative top technology region”.
“The connection with Helmond as a region for smart mobility is also unique. In short, there is no such perfect fit anywhere in Europe.
“In particular in the area of attracting talented technological employees, we see that the business community in the region has a challenge that is becoming increasingly difficult.
“With bringing an E-Prix to Eindhoven we see a huge number of opportunities to profile the Metropolitan Region of Eindhoven globally and attractively.
“Around the race we will organize a wide range of activities to let the world know that you have to be here for the top in technology and mobility.
“Many leading organizations such as VDL Groep, High Tech Campus, Holmatro, Jumbo, TU/e, Marks Wachters Notaries, Rabobank region Eindhoven, Province of Brabant etc. have now supported our initiative.”
The Dutch E-Prix organisers will now have to wait to see if they get approval from Formula E and the FIA to host an E-Prix.
