Rowland fastest in FP2

Oliver Rowland has ended the final practice session of the season in Berlin fastest. The Brit is set to leave Nissan after today’s race and join Mahindra for season eight.

The 29-year old is out of the running to be a potential champion at the end of the day. He set a 1.06.372 to end the session fastest. Maximilian Gunther was second fastest for BMW. The German driver set a 1.06.415.

Norman Nato is continuing his fine form after securing a fourth-place finish in yesterday’s race. The Frenchmen finished third with a lap time of a 1.06.502.

Stoffel Vandoorne was fourth for Mercedes ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne, and championship leader Nyck De Vries.

Jake Dennis was seventh fastest in the second BMW with Lucas Di Grassi in eighth for Audi. Nick Cassidy ended the session in ninth with Pascal WEhrelin finishing in tenth.

Mitch Evans was 11th for Jaguar and finished ahead of Rene Rast, Andre Lotterer, and Edoardo Mortara.

Sam Bird was 15th fastest with reigning champion Antonio Felix Da Costa in 16th. Sebastien Buemi was 17th for Nissan and was ahead of Dragon’s Joel Eriksson.

Alex Lynn was 19th for Mahindra, as Robin Frijns continued Envision Virgin Racing’s poor weekend by finishing in 20th. Sergio Sette Camara was 21st with Oliver Turvey, Tom Blomqvist, and Alexander Sims occupying the final three positions.
