Mitch Evans claims his first pole position since the 2024 London E-Prix after mastering the wet conditions in Berlin.

Evans blitzed Group A with a dominant performance. The Jaguar driver was a full second faster than his rivals on every lap. The Kiwi set a 1:11.021 to top the group, while Oliver Rowland was second fastest with a 1:12.000 — nearly a full second behind Evans.

Robin Frijns was the quickest driver in Group B for Envision Racing, setting a 1:11.109. However, he was unable to beat Evans’ time and will start the race from second place.

Qualifying was delayed by 40 minutes due to wet weather conditions. The FIA opted not to conduct the duel stages of qualifying, meaning the fastest driver from the group stages would start on pole position.

Rowland will start the race from third on the grid after finishing second in Group A. He will be joined on the second row by Jake Hughes.

Maximilian Günther will start from fifth for DS Penske, ahead of António Félix da Costa.

Jean-Éric Vergne will line up seventh in the second DS Penske, ahead of Dan Ticktum for CUPRA Kimoa.

Pascal Wehrlein will start ninth after initially qualifying in sixth place. The current World Champion was handed a three-place grid penalty after colliding with his teammate da Costa on the start/finish straight during FP1.

Taylor Barnard will start in tenth place for the NEOM McLaren team.

Edoardo Mortara will line up 11th ahead of Stoffel Vandoorne. Nico Müller starts 13th, ahead of Felipe Drugovich, who impressed in Group B on his Formula E debut.

Sam Bird will start 15th, ahead of Lucas di Grassi in the Lola Yamaha ABT. Jake Dennis will line up 17th, ahead of Zane Maloney.

David Beckmann will start 19th, ahead of Sérgio Sette Câmara, who is driving the Nissan in place of Norman Nato.

Nick Cassidy will start 21st after his penalties were applied, while Sébastien Buemi did not qualify after receiving a 40-place grid penalty.
