Pascal Wehrlein ended the final practice session for the Mexico City E-Prix fastest after setting a 1:05.141.
Sébastien Buemi finished second, with the Swiss driver posting a 1:05.301, while Taylor Barnard continued DS Penske’s strong showing in Mexico by going third with a 1:05.359.
Nico Müller backed up Porsche’s strong pace with a fourth-place finish after setting a 1:05.394. Championship leader Jake Dennis couldn’t make it back-to-back fastest laps in practice and had to settle for fifth.
Nyck de Vries was sixth for Mahindra, a much-improved showing for the Indian manufacturer, who have been tipped as title contenders this season.
Mitch Evans finished seventh for Jaguar, ahead of Maximilian Günther in eighth and Edoardo Mortara in ninth.
Norman Nato was the lead Nissan driver in tenth. Nick Cassidy ended the session 11th for Citroën, ahead of reigning world champion Oliver Rowland in the second Nissan.
Dan Ticktum was 13th for CUPRA Kiro, followed by Lucas di Grassi for Lola in 14th.
Joel Eriksson finished 15th, ahead of double world champion Jean-Éric Vergne.
Zane Maloney was 17th fastest, ahead of Felipe Drugovich.
Pepe Martí and António Félix da Costa did not set a time. Martí suffered a mechanical issue with his car, while da Costa experienced a brake-by-wire failure — the same issue that affected di Grassi in FP1.
